Product Location Manager Emergency Edition

Project The project involved part of the LMEE product which includes SIP signaling and routing for 911 calls. A 911 VoIP call comes in through a SIP Server. The application then queries another application for location data and sends over the VoIP call along with additional information.
Openwave was deep into the project when one of their staff members had an emergency situation. With the sudden departure, they were in a staffing predicament and needed a company that could come on board quickly with lots of domain knowledge.
Magpie's job was to assist in the development of the B2BUA; essentially the SIP signaling and routing of the 911 call. The scope of the project was from when a call comes in, where it is routed, and all the SIP Signaling in between the two applications.
Outcome Openwave was very pleased. They were glad Magpie could get up to speed so quickly, that they did not "miss a step to hit their deadline."
